"Pullivasal is situated around 8 lm from Munnar. It is the venue of the first Hydro Electric Project in Kerala and a place of immense scenic beauty. The very name Pullivasal which literally means "temple door" conjures up a vision of beauty and peace. The view from Munnar - Adimaly road is very charming.
