Bangalore

Bangalore (Bengaluru) - the Garden city, located on the Deccan Plateau in the south-eastern part of Karnataka. The capital city of the state holds an estimated population of 90 lakh (9 million).

The city being a hub of various public sector heavy industries, software companies, aerospace, telecommunications, machine tools, heavy equipment, and defense organizations is also a preferred spot for visitors. Coorg

Coorg (Kodagu) popularly known as Scotland of India is situated on the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Coorg is rich and famous for its incomparable scenic beauty, lush green valleys, coffee plantations, teak wood forests, wild life & majestic mountain ranges.

Mysore

Lying 130 km from the capital city of Karnataka (Bangalore), is the city of palaces Mysore. Mangalore

Hampi

Hampi, as it is popularly known today was the medieval capital of the Hindu empire Vijayanagara (the City of Victory), which dominated a large part of south India after the Mughals faded away. Hampi in the Karnataka state of India is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Today the mighty capital lies in ruins as though intrigued in the splendid past.

Chikmagalur

Chikmagalur is a beautiful hill station town situated in the southwestern part of Karnataka about 240 km from Bangalore. Chikmagalur literally means The Younger Daughter's Town. According to popular legend, this town was presented as a dowry to the younger daughter of Rukmangada, the famed chief of Sakrepatna and hence the name Chikmagalur.

Perched at a height of over 1900 meters in the lush green valley south of the Baba Bundan range, the tranquil town of Chikmagalur is decked with picturesque hills, emerald green forests, valleys, streams, stunning waterfalls and impressive temples nestled in the mountains. This well-known coffee town is ideal for trekking.
